About

The London Salon

Like 17th and 18th century salons, THE LONDON SALON invites its visitors to gather in an inspiring place, partly to amuse one another, but also to refine taste, increase knowledge and provoke discussion. It is a place where doors open and new worlds appear behind them. Please browse around and let yourself be inspired by the extensive cultural surprises which London offers, some of which you never knew they existed, and don’t hesitate to leave comments or suggestions.

For contact, please leave a message on Twitter @StellaToonen, and for more information on the concept of a Salon, see the first post.

This website is curated by Stella Toonen, who graduated as a Master of Arts in Cultural and Creative Industries from King’s College London in 2013 and is currently Programming Coordinator at the Cultural Institute at King’s and Director of Young People in the Arts. She also writes restaurant reviews for Live Fast Eat Slow. For a more extensive professional biography, click here
